So, what have I been up to? Well July was a busy month for me, clocking up a whopping 41 miniatures. 11 were from Imperial Assault, painted for Leonardofury's Birthday. There were the four turtles from the last update and the rest were from Otherworld.
I have a very geeky spreadsheet where I log my painting for specific manufacturers. According to that spreadsheet I own 401 Otherworld miniatures. My aim for July was to bring the total painted to 301, leaving just a mere hundred to go. Success was mine and hopefully over the next few weeks I can get some of the pictures up. I'm also considering finding the time to put together a shot of all 301 if people would be interested in seeing that!
So, that's it for now, I just wanted to update you guys and let you know about the FB page and my current projects.
All the best,
P.s. Here's a sneak peek at my completed Cockatrices...

As some of you have probably guessed by now I’m a huge TMNT fan, so when I saw these minis I couldn't resist!
I bought these guys mostly just to paint them but I also plan to use them in the upcoming TMNT board game from IDW (designed by Kevin Wilson, one of my favourite designers) and of course they will work with my Pulp City Minis.
For now they will be used as Ninjas or Vigilante minions but hopefully in the future if Pulp Monsters release a Build Your Own Supreme book these guys will have their own special rules.
These are just 4 of the 19 minis I’ve painted so far this month so keep checking back for more content in the next two weeks.
Keep on painting…

It didn't really work, maybe I can fix it by concentrating on the edges. Regardless, I used Agrellan Earth, a GW technical paint which blisters as it dries (you can see some of the effect around the archway). This gave the bricks a nice texture. I also removed some bricks from the archway to give it that derelict feeling.
The whole thing probably needs a little more work but I'm happy enough with it for now.
Hope you like,
